Job Description

Join our development team as a Junior Chrome Extension Developer working on an advanced automation project. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with complex browser automation while working under senior developer mentorship. You'll work on a real-world automation system handling web automation, Chrome extension development, and modern JavaScript frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Implement specific extension features under senior developer guidance
  • Build React components for the extension's dashboard and popup interface
  • Write and execute comprehensive test cases for automation workflows
  • Create technical documentation and user guides for the extension
  • Identify and resolve issues in automation scripts and UI components
  • Research new automation techniques and Chrome API capabilities
  • Collaborate in daily standups and code review processes
  • Support testing and QA processes for automation features
  • Contribute to UI/UX improvements and user experience optimization
  • Assist in debugging and troubleshooting automation workflows

Requirements

  • 2+ years JavaScript/TypeScript experience with modern ES6+ features
  • Chrome Extension basics: Understanding of Manifest v3, Content Scripts, Popup development
  • React.js fundamentals: Components, state management, event handling
  • Web technologies: HTML5, CSS3, DOM manipulation, async programming
  • Version control: Git workflows, collaborative development practices
  • API integration: REST API consumption, JSON handling, error management
  • Web scraping/automation experience using Puppeteer, Selenium, or similar (nice to have)
  • Firebase basics: Firestore operations, authentication flows (nice to have)
  • Extension development: Any published Chrome extensions (nice to have)
  • Government portal interactions or form automation experience (nice to have)
